Why we started
The motive behind Anchor and Ascent
Every community has people with real potential — women, young people, and underprivileged families — who simply haven't had access to the right skills, guidance, or opportunity.
Anchor and Ascent Foundation was founded to change that: to give people something stable to hold on to, and the skills to rise from there.
Talent is universal.Opportunity is not.
We exist to unlock human potential through skills, education, entrepreneurship, innovation and collaboration.
Vision
A society where every woman, young person, and underprivileged individual has the skills, confidence, and opportunity to build a life of dignity and self-reliance.
To build an inclusive ecosystem where women, youth and communities are empowered with knowledge, skills, innovation and opportunities to create sustainable and meaningful lives.
Mission
To deliver skill development, education, and empowerment programmes — for women, youth, underprivileged communities, and budding entrepreneurs — using training, mentorship, and culture as pathways to real livelihoods.
To inspire transformation through future-ready skills, education, entrepreneurship, technology, mentorship and partnerships.
Meet the founders
Anchor and Ascent Foundation began as a shared dream between Ashvini and Chetan — a vision for giving people the skills and support to rise. Sakshi and Gauri joined hands soon after, turning that dream into a shared mission.
